WHEW!
Finally home after a crazy week of school and library visits! 12 speaking engagements . . . all in six days! I didn't even have time to update my journal while we were on the road! Our visits began one week ago to today at Louise Peacock Elementary in Corunna, Michigan, continuing on to Greyhound Intermediate School in Eaton Rapids, Briggs Public Library in St. Johns,Memorial Elementary in Riverview, Farmington Library and Farmington Community Library, the Detroit Free Press Yak book fair at the Detroit Science
Center, Roosevelt and Coolidge Elementaries in Ferndale, and finally, John F. Kennedy Elementary in Oak Park. Special thanks to our die-hard road crew, Jack and Barb Blanchard for all of their help!
Don't forget: my short story 'Field of Screams' continues every Tuesday in The Saginaw News and Bay City Times. If you live out of the area and would like to follow along, click here! A new chapter is published every Tuesday!
Upcoming events: On the 29th of October, I'll be the special guest at the Great Zoo Boo at Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek, Michigan, followed a special event at Dow Event Center on the 30th! More details regarding those events will be posted soon. We'll wrap up the month at Chillermania! on Halloween for our annual Trick-or-Treat
bash. This year's event will be bigger than ever! More details soon!
I'm only home for the day, as I head out to a writer's conference tomorrow through Sunday. I'm really looking forward to this one, as I get a chance to meet new authors and talk about writing. Plus, I usually get a lot of writing done.
Below are various pictures from the past week. Thanks to all of the great schools, teacher, libraries, and Chiller fans!

Best wishes, happy reading, and . . . WRITE ON!
