Home!

Had a great week in California, visiting eight schools in four days. Sorry I don't have any pictures from these schools; I traveled to California without my staff photographer. Friday night I had a book signing at Barnes & Noble in Redding, which was great. Here are a few pictures from that:

Not sure when we'll be returning to California; probably in the fall. We'll be visiting quite a few states in the coming year.

Our next few months will be the busiest of the year. We leave today for the Saginaw, Michigan area for three school visits. Then we head to SE Michigan for a visit in the Milford area. Home Friday night; on the road again on Sunday to kick off another full week.

Not good news regarding my right arm/wrist/hand. I'm still having trouble with it, and my doctor tells me that I need to give it a *complete* rest . . . which means no signing books for a while. I wear a brace while I type, and that really helps a lot. But when I hold a pen or pencil, I get a shooting pain up my arm. So, no more book signings for a while . . . at least until summer. Hopefully, by then, my arm will have had a chance to heal.
