HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hope you had a safe and happy new year's celebration! We took it very easy and stayed home with Lily Munster and Scooby-Boo, and it was a lot of fun.

The only thing that wasn't fun was going to Chillermania to find that snowmobilers had destroyed the fence we put up to keep them from zipping across our parking lot at ninety miles an hour . . .

The dogs had fun on New Years Day . . .

Another beautiful sunrise this morning. When I got up, it was 2 degrees outside! Brrrr!

Here's something kind of cool. This is the cover layout for American Chillers #23: Wicked Velociraptors of West Virginia. With the updated covers, we've been doing what's called an 'Elkote' process (to give them a more 3-dimensional look). On the bottom cover, what you're seeing is the areas that will be glossy and the areas that will be flat/matte. The white area will be shiny and glossy when the books are printed:

Look for the book to be available in early February.
