Yesterday was a super-fantastic day, and it all started at Northwood Elementary in Royal Oak, Michigan! Here we are on school television, doing the morning announcements . . .

Northwood was really great! Special thanks to the Northwood PTA for all their help!

After Northwood, we traveled to Frankenmuth for a special book signing event at the Frankenmuth Historical Museum! There was a *ton* of people, but everyone was patient . . .

These guys were great . . .

. . . until they went martian on me!

Even a few young blinkmongers showed up . . .

It was an awesome time last night. Thanks to everyone who came out and waited in line! And thanks to our new friends John and Ann (and Mike and Jenny!) and Stan and Kathy. We'll be visiting Frankenmuth again, that's for sure!

Home for a few days. Lots to prepare for our journey east, where I'll be visiting schools in New Jersey (just in time for American Chillers #22: Nuclear Jellyfish of New Jersey!) for two weeks. Haven't been to NJ in a couple of years, so it'll be a fun return viisit.
